Dream Mall iSharing Christmas 2025: Tree, Light Rail and Evening Plans

Dream Mall works well when your group wants shopping, a proper meal and Christmas photographs from one base. It is particularly useful when not everyone wants to spend the whole evening outdoors. It is not the same event area as Central Park or the music-centre harbour, so choose a main destination before filling the night with transfers.

Separate iSharing lights from short market dates

Dream Mall’s 2025 iSharing display brought together a Venice-inspired canal, bridge and carnival setting. The 2025 tree was the 13-metre Purple Wish, inspired by Venice’s mask carnival and the Gothic columns of St Mark’s Square. Its 18:00 launch on 14 November 2025 included the themed light show and Xue’er show; this was a launch time, not a daily schedule. The Rialto Bridge and winged lion of St Mark distinguished the Kaohsiung setting. These are 2025 designs. For a later visit, use the new season’s installations, dates and lighting hours rather than inferring a closing date from the previous launch. Taipei shared the campaign but used different layouts; its photographs are not a map of Kaohsiung’s installation.

Main interest A useful plan Check separately
Tree and light photographs A short stop around a mall meal Current display and lighting hours
A Christmas market Choose a specified trading day Stalls are not necessarily season-long
A named performance Work backwards from its programme Do not reuse an old launch time

A plaza can host different events on different weekends. Longer-running lights and a short market need separate calendars. New Year’s Eve traffic arrangements should not automatically be applied to ordinary Christmas-season visits either.

    Arriving by light rail

Take the MRT to R6 Kaisyuan, then transfer to light rail at C3 Cianjhen Star for C4 Kaisyuan Jhonghua or C5 Dream Mall. Choose the final stop with your first destination and the current event entrance in mind. Allow for the walk after alighting; arrival at a rail platform is not arrival at a photo position.

For an HSR or airport arrival, use the Kaohsiung transport guide to organise the city connection first. Leave large bags at your accommodation before shopping rather than trying to solve luggage storage at the same time as finding the display.

Two comfortable ways to spend the evening

Families can eat first, browse a little indoors and then see the outdoor setting while children still have energy. For a date, photographs before dinner avoid carrying shopping bags through every picture. Start with about an hour of outdoor flexibility and add time if a published performance interests you. This is a suggested pace, not an event rule.

Never step onto a road or light-rail corridor to fit the whole tree into a photograph. Work from safe pedestrian space, taking a wider view before portraits. At a popular backdrop, take turns rather than occupying one angle for a prolonged session.

Add the harbour or save it for another night?

If the day is already based at the mall, staying there can be enough. If the waterfront and warehouse district are the main attraction, use the Pier-2 guide for a separate half-day and compare the Kaohsiung Christmas districts by evening. The accommodation-area guide helps choose a base for the whole trip rather than one tree.

    FAQ

Is this the Central Park event?

No. The venue and programme are separate. Central Park’s dates and stalls should not be attributed to Dream Mall.

Will stalls be open whenever the lights are on?

Not necessarily. Markets have their own organisers and trading dates.

Does the MRT stop directly at the display?

You can transfer from Kaisyuan to the light rail. Count the transfer and final walk in your plan.
