Jiaoxi’s 2025 Christmas market night made most sense as an addition to an existing hot-spring stay, dinner or evening walk. Do not approach it as a giant-tree attraction with a precise hourly light show. Its appeal is a local-brand market and live music within the spa-town streets around Tangweigou Park.

The Christmas Market Party, part of Jiaoxi Winter Light Night, took place on December 20, 2025 only, at Tangweigou Park. It combined hot food, desserts, crafts, local emerging brands and performances by 奏者樂團 and Bryce.

Fit the market around fixed reservations
If staying overnight, arrange any timed private-bath or dinner booking first, then work the market around the actual performance schedule. Visitors hoping to sample stall food may prefer a lighter earlier meal. Families needing predictable meal times should not rely entirely on temporary vendors or assume popular dishes will remain available late.
In a public park, queues, music spectators and people using foot-bathing facilities can overlap. Agree on a meeting point before splitting up, keep paths clear and avoid eating hot food directly beside bathing pools. A photo opportunity does not mean a giant tree, extensive light installations or scheduled artificial snow.
The event name also should not absorb every other winter decoration or hot-spring-season performance in Jiaoxi. Those may have different organizers, dates and sites.
Walk from Jiaoxi Station towards Deyang Road
Tangweigou Hot Spring Park is around the Deyang Road and Ren’ai Road junction, at No. 99-11, Deyang Road, approximately eight minutes on foot from Jiaoxi railway station. Treat that as an ordinary reference, allowing extra time for rain, crowds and your own walking pace.
From the station, head into the town centre towards Deyang Road and Tangweigou, then follow the event layout. Do not mistake it for the separate Jiaoxi Hot Spring Park nearer the coach-terminal area. Drop luggage at your accommodation before browsing rather than pulling it between queues and bathing spaces.

If you already want an overnight spa stay, choose from the Jiaoxi accommodation areas according to the whole trip, including station, bath and dinner locations. Day-trippers should reserve a realistic return journey rather than assume an unpublished concert finish will fit the last service.
The float parade was on another day
The 2025 Toucheng lighting and Jiaoxi–Zhuangwei illuminated-float programme took place on December 19, a day before this market party. Seeing both required separate dates; arriving at Tangweigou on market night did not establish that the float convoy would pass there.
Compare Yilan’s Christmas events before adding Luodong or Dongshan. Choosing one main event is more reliable than treating every seasonal activity in the county as interchangeable.
