Taipei Main Station’s Christmas tree places a large seasonal scene inside a working transport hub. When a new display is announced, it can be a convenient indoor stop between journeys. Your departure and platform still matter more than waiting for an empty photograph. The venue is the station’s first-floor main hall, not a department store across the road or the northern bus terminal.
A 22-metre tree in the 2025 season
The charity lighting took place on November 6, 2025. The 22-metre tree used 60,000 lights, drawing inspiration from Rockefeller Center, with a large star representing hope. Its display dates were November 6, 2025–January 2, 2026.
The launch supported wish boxes made by children associated with a parents’ organisation for visually impaired people. Zhongshan Girls High School’s string ensemble and singer Crowd Lu participated in the opening. Their presence was launch-specific, not a daily performance promise.
The mall changed operators in 2026
Shin Kong Mitsukoshi took over the station mall in July 2026. Shopping hours were shortened on July 24 for the handover, with normal operations resuming July 25.
“Breeze Taipei Station Christmas” therefore describes the historical 2025 event, not a guarantee about the late-2026 organiser. The next tree, dates and lighting programme need their own arrangements from Taiwan Railway and the current mall operator; Breeze’s old promotion is not a new-season schedule.

A concert visit differs from a transfer stop
The 2025 Christmas-night programme featured host Song Ping-en and performers including babyMINT, Huang Ruo-xin and Zheng Fu-yi for Christmas night. Separate appearances involved Breeze, railway, bank and food-brand mascots. These were additional reasons to visit on particular dates, not permanent components of the tree.
Between trains, check your next platform and boarding time before deciding how long to stay. Keep luggage with you and avoid ticket queues, gates and escalator landings when composing a photograph. If visiting specifically for a show, leave enough time afterwards rather than relying on a last train immediately after the advertised finish.
Reach the first-floor railway hall
The address is 3 Beiping West Road. From Taipei Main Station MRT on the Blue or Red Line, follow signs toward TRA/HSR and continue to the first-floor hall. Arriving railway passengers should leave their own paid area before locating the display; there is no need to enter another transport system’s gates.
